At the Dee Why RSL, Dee Why

Northern Beaches Multiple Birth Club and Multinet are pleased to be hosting the 64th AMBA NSW Seminar in 2017. This year's location is the newly renovated and highly acclaimed Dee Why RSL based on the stunning Northern Beaches of Sydney.
State Seminar is an ideal opportunity for club members across NSW and ACT to get together in an official forum and discuss issues relating to running their clubs; what to offer members; and hear about topics that may interest members on a personal level.

This year's guest speakers:

Catherine Knox from The Gidget Foundation
Following her personal experience of perinatal anxiety and depression, Catherine has pursued a passionate interest in the area of mental health and women’s life experiences.

Catherine is a current Board Member of The Gidget Foundation, a charitable organisation, which was established in 2001, after the tragic death of a young mother suffering from postnatal depression.

John Merrick - Forensic Counsellor and Psychologist
John worked at the Institute of Forensic Medicine at the Office of the State Coroner in Glebe from 1989 to 2009 as a Forensic Counsellor. John will be sharing his story with us and talking with us on how Clubs can support bereaved families.

Club Share
This Seminar sees Club share with a difference, extending from the amazing idea at Convention last year, AMBA NSW would love each Club to submit a short presentation of an activity, event or service that your Club does really well. The Seminar Planning Committee will then choose four attending Clubs to present at Seminar. Find the club share form here.
All presentations submitted will be sent to all Clubs along with the contact details of a Club Member so more information can be obtained about the activity, event or service they offer to their members. The national AMBA organisation will also use the information from this club share project to assist them in their strategy planning for the future of AMBA.
